1. Move like a sea creature. Brainstorm a list of ways different sea creatures move.Then have some fun moving like each of them. |
2.Make lemonade with your child. Speak about the ingredients that are needed. Have your child make a prediction on how the lemonade would taste if sugar isn’t added. Let your child taste it before the sugar is added. Ask them which way do they like better? |
3. Make an American flag. Cut 7 strips of red & 6 strips of white paper. Add a blue rec- tangle & star stickers. |

6.Make popsicles with your child. Come up with your Own popsicle recipe to try throughout the Summer. |
7.Sea life sensory bag. Make an ocean inspired squishy bag. |
8.Make smores with your child. Pretend that you are at a campfire. Sing the song “I’m going on a bear hunt.” |
9. Make a fort out of cardboard boxes or blankets. |
10.Fireworks in a jar activity. Ask your child to predict what they may see before you start the activity. Ask them to predict the sounds they might hear. |

13.Have your child make fruit kabobs with their favorite fruits. |
14. Play “I spy” with your child. Explain to them the rules and take turns with them. |
15. Use masking or painters tape to create several shapes. Have your child jump to the shape you call out. |
16. Have your child cut pictures from a magazine. Have them create a collage using their favorite pictures. |
17.Have your child create a summer book of the different summer activities they do. They can draw in this book daily. |

20. Do an indoor scavenger hunt using items that are available at home. |
21.Bake a cake with your child. Let your child measure the water that is needed. Help your child crack the eggs and let them mix the mixture together. |

27. Help your child create their own kite. It more than likely won’t fly, but they’ll enjoy this activity. They can design the kite to their liking. |
28. Play the copy me game. Have your child copy everything you do. |
29. Create an indoor obstacle course for your child. Make sure there is enough space in the area you will be using. |
30. Read a book to your child. Ask them questions about the book. |
31. Help your child create shadow puppets. Let them give a puppet show to the family when it is dark enough. |
